Welcome to the Sieber Valley – a true hidden gem for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and authenticity. Nestled between ancient beech forests, lush green meadows, and the gentle babbling of the Sieber river, our little paradise is a place to take a deep breath, unplug, and feel right at home. Wake up in the morning to birdsong, and drift off to sleep in the evening accompanied by the rustling of the forest. Perfect for hikers, cyclists, tranquility seekers – or anyone who simply wants to spend some time offline. What awaits you: · High-quality mattress (activated charcoal foam) and bed linen (satin) · Riverside spot immersed in nature · Directly located on hiking and cycling trails in the Harz National Park · Opportunities for wildlife watching, swimming in the Sieber & cozy campfires · Basic outdoor toilet (compost toilet) · 100% carbon-neutral thanks to solar energy and timber construction Here in the Sieber Valley, it’s all about the essentials: peace, nature, and time. We look forward to welcoming guests who share our passion for simplicity and the great outdoors. Please note: Our site is deliberately kept rustic and simple – please bring along an appreciation for nature, consideration for your surroundings, and a desire for a genuine outdoor experience. We really enjoyed it. We loved the rustic charm and the lovely details, both in the cottage and throughout the grounds! Cooking and heating water is done on a beautiful wood-burning stove. No such thing as just quickly switching on the kettle here. If you're not used to making a fire but manage to get it going, the coffee tastes even better!
